Introduction

        
Joel chapter 3 from the Leningrad Codex (Codex Leningradensis, National Library of Russia, Firkovich EBP. I B 19a), copied in Cairo by Samuel ben Jacob and dated 1008/1009 AD, the oldest complete manuscript of the Hebrew Bible and the base text of the Biblia Hebraica editions. This chapter stands on folios 308r, 308v.
This entry meets the strict three-criteria standard of the Theosis Library:
  1. Manuscript scan: the specific folio side(s) carrying each section's verses, from the full-colour West Semitic Research Project photographs of the codex as redistributed on Internet Archive (item Leningrad_Codex_Color_Images, marked Creative Commons Public Domain Mark 1.0).
